Thanks to everyone who competed in the Tudor Trophy on Thursday 22nd June. The competition was contested by 86 golfers in perfect summer weather on an excellent Grange Over Sands course.
The Trophy was won by home player Graeme Whitfield with a nett 67, following a card play-off with Lancaster's Andy Dawson. A card play-off was also needed to determine the 3rd nett prize, won by Lancaster's Jake Staerke.
The best gross score of the day was posted by Morecambe's Steven Chester, first player on the course in the morning, with an excellent round of 67. Card play-offs also separated the second and third placed gross scores of Steve Chapman and Chris Carney.
